A while back I had entered in a bloggers photo contest and surprisingly won. The prize was a $10 gift certificate to the on-line store or venue of my choosing. Since the super awesome blog, www.seehearspeaknoevil.com was also from Logan, I asked if my gift card could be from the local pastry shoppe, Sweetly Divine.

The girls at S.H.S.N.E. were kind enough to oblige. The awesome prize actually hung on my fridge for sometime. Not because I didn’t want to use it, but because I wanted to make sure someone was with me, so that they could document the chocolate binge on film.

My husband and my willing 2 year old chocolate-eating helper came along. $10 was plenty to buy two treats and a glass of milk (actually, I could have gotten three treats out of the $10 but I opted to keep $2.00 on the gift card, so I could go back for more another day).

I got an éclair (a tried and true favorite) and something different, yeah, I don’t remember what it was called, something Frenchy. But I do remember how sweet it was. It was so incredibly sweet that I thought I would have to be wheeled out on a stretcher due to a sugar coma. Welly loved the éclair, especially the chocolate ganache that covered it. He made sure and ate all that off before he let me have a turn with it.

Thank you so much Bridge, Al, and Jess for putting on that fun photo contest, and then rewarding me with a super sweet fun treat. It made my crazy pregnant, sweet craving self so happy. Umm…you guys rock.

I can’t wait for the next photo contest!
