Bridges of Cache County, Part 1
It’s no red covered bridge from Madison County, but it sure is picturesque. Bridges are a great backdrop to any family photo or fun to visit and throw rocks over. They can be romantic or just practical. “Hey, I’m on this side of the stream, and I want to be on that side!”
Here is a list of the bridges I’m aware of and their general location. I’m sure there are more, and if you know of one, let me know!

Logan High-Located at 162 West and 100 South there is a lovely rock bridge directly behind the school, more towards the west side between the track and the school. It’s surrounded by rocks and trees. The water isn’t very deep, but when we went it was very cold. |

Logan High-If you walk from the first bridge behind the High School continuing west, you will come to a parking lot and right to the left, there is a small metal bridge. This is more the practical kind, but it is surrounded by trees which makes for pretty pictures. It also has kind of an urban feel to it, with the school spirit red and gold paint, and some graffiti looking stairs. |

Design West-This is a medium sized wooden bridge right next to an architectural business, Design West. It is located on the North side of the building, at 255 South 300 West. There are many pretty flowers and trees around. And its an architectural business so it’s a bit more modern. |

Rendezvous Park--Rendezvous Park has many picture taking opertunites. Right off Highway 89, just a short drive past the South McDonalds, going South it will be on the right hand side of the highway. There is a small parking lot, and as you leave the parking lot to go to the park, go left and you will find a large maroon reddish bridge. There is lots of greenery around this wooden and metal bridge, the water is usually flowing pretty fast this time of year. The trees also make fall a perfect time to go. This is one of the spots we took our engagement photos as well as a winter family photo. |

Rendezvous Park-If you go right when you exit the parking lot and follow the path you will meet up with the train track bridge. That’s what I’m calling it anyway. It’s very pretty there with big trees and a little pond. There are usually kids there in the summer, jumping off a tree swing into the water. The tracks make for an interesting different picture. |

I really love these pics Melly – what actions did you use? I’ve started trying them out, I love them! So easy and fun. Oh, and there is a lecture on photography coming up – want to go with? Leave our babies for one night. Let me know!
You should go over to Merlin Olsen park and get some photos of the bridges over there. I have one of me about Wells’ age with all the cousins on one of those bridges
Mel you are a Great photographer!!! If you keep this up I just might ask you to take our family pictures.
