Worst Valentines ever!
One year for Valentines Day Mark had me convinced I wasn’t getting anything. It had happened before, so I’d say I wasn’t too suprised I wasn’t getting anything. I thought Mark could at least go grocery shopping with me, you know, spend some time together on Valentines day. Well I left by myself for the store in tears. It was shaping up to be the worst Valentines Ever.
As I was getting ready for bed that night I went to my nightstand to get some pajammas out of my drawer. When I opened it, it was filled to the brim with candy bars of all kinds, and a nice note. He had planned to make me think I wasn’t getting anything, then he would suprise me with that. But the only problem was he couldn’t get me out of the house long enough to get the candy bars out of the car and into the drawer. So he decided he had to be mean to get me out of the house (who does that?).
When I saw all the candy bars, I was so suprised and happy (duh its me, a drawer full of chocolate..), I started to say “this is the best Valentines ever”, then I stopped, and said “no, wait this was the worst Valentines ever!” Being miserable all day wasn’t too fun. I kept the candy right where it was and it took a few months to finish it up, so much candy!

Yeah, that really is sucky. All day?!! Making you think that fror an hour or two is one thing, but all day? I hope he has made up for that since then. Although a drawer full of chocolate is a great idea.
I love how it was a whole drawer full and it only took you a few months. You’re a trooper! Hey, last weekend there was some kind of Chocolate Festival in town, pretty sad we missed it. I thought of you when I read about it in the newspaper! We should’ve gone!
Mark IS a jerk (but he is still right about the sandwiches). He tries to get Gary to do things like that to me too. I think he tried to do something similar on my birthday but he broke down much sooner than Marky was pushing for. YOU KEEP YOUR HUSBAND AWAY FROM MY HUSBAND!!!
Did you cry when you found the chocolate?
What a tricker. I wish for you a less miserable Valentines Day tomorrow.
