My solo of itsy bitsy spider brings a smile to no one.

I was able to take some pictures of my cute sister Barbara and her family last week. Her little girl, Sadie, is so cute but not too interested in getting her picture taken. Next time I take family photos for them (I hope they let me do it again!) we need someone to be ONLY in charge of making Sadie look this way or that and to help make her smile.
At one point of the photo shoot, Barbara suggested I sing to encourage a smile from Sadie. After a solo of ABC’s and itsy bitsy spider, she did stop from eating rocks and dirt for a moment (third picture) to to give a slight smile but it was more of a “I’ll humor you Aunt Melanie, so you can stop singing” smile.

FYI How and Where-The photos were blurred (except for the first and last one), vignetted and cropped in Photoshop. Here is the link to the cool tutorial I used for the rounded corners! The first picture was taken in the alley way behind the White Owl, in front of the Old Lyric Theater Doors. Second photo: Ellen Eccles Theater freight doors, Third photo: Behind Book Table, Fourth photo: Behind old V1 gas station, you’ll find a cool rock wall with no trespassing signs. Fifth photo: V1 gas station wall (isn’t my lil’ sis so cute?)

Melly, I love them all! You did such a great job. I’ve even had a couple of my friends hint at having you do their family pictures…I’m telling you, you could charge money! =) You didn’t send me that last one – still have it? I’d love it! I hardly have any pics of just me and Sadie – I’m always the one behind the camera!
We’ll definitely be having you do them again!!
Another hidden talent that I didn’t know you had! Those are great pictures!
Little Miss Sadie is so cute! Love the pics Melly, you are so talented!
You didn’t try singing Itsy Bitsy Spider to ME — you never know, you might get a smile then.
