Make your own weird Star Wars dolls….for your kids or your husband. Using dark shirt iron-on paper, and a bit of sewing, you too can be the nerdiest person on your block.
I actually think these are pretty fun. If you think about it, using the dark shirt iron-on paper, you could make dolls with your kids own faces, or other favorite characters. I’ll have to give it a try and maybe make a Wellington doll.
8 commentsHappy Anniversary Yesterday!
Marky Happy Anniversary yesterday. It was our 4 year anniversary, can you believe it?

We share our special day with Heidi and Gary (who have been married 6 years). It was fun going out to dinner and play games afterwards. It’s been kind of a tradition to go out to dinner together with them.

We chose to eat at a new restaurant , Blackstone, which is the restaurant where the old DI used to be. It was very fancy, the service was incredibly slow, and the food was just okay for how much it was. But we still had fun despite that.

Afterwards we went to our house to play a games, and chat. We had lots of fun and I’m still glad to be married to Marky, can you believe it?
Love you Mark!
7 commentsOur Christmas Day
We had a great Christmas! Marky started the waffles while Wellington and I slept in. Mammy and Pappy soon came over. We ate berry and cream topped waffles then we opened presents. Wellington needed a little help and encouragement to get started, but he did a great job. As you can see in this picture it was very exhausting to open presents. It was also really fun to have Mammy and Pappy over to share our Christmas morning.

Mark didn’t think I’d be surprised but he managed to do so many times. My favorites were of course the chocolates, xbox 360 Scene it game, a digital picture frame and my soon to come (it hasn’t shipped yet) dvd cabinet.
A few things Marky got were; an xbox360 game-Assassins Creed, German goggles, a sweater, and the popular and ever classy, Fart Machine 2. Which both Mark and all 4 year olds love.
Wellington got toys but mostly clothes…poor kid, I think he opened like 5 pairs of socks. He loved his Rat Flashlight, Shrek The Third DVD and his keyboard. He also loves laying on and cuddling up with his superman pillow.

Later on in the day we visited my family, but we didn’t open presents, because we’re waiting to do that tomorrow when Barb and Ry return from Kaysville, where they celebrated xmas with Ry’s family.
We made our way over to Mammy and Pappy’s for dinner. We wanted to thank Mammy and Pappy for the dinner, the fun gifts and everything. Also, thanks to Heidi and Gary for thinking of us. I’m going to smell so good (I got perfume)!!!!
Merry Christmas everyone, and I hope you had a good one.
There are more pictures from Christmas in our Gallery so go check it out!
5 commentsChristmas Eve at the Stevenson’s
While Wellington is taking a nice long Christmas Eve nap, I’ll take a second to show you what our tree looks like.
I made kid friendly ornaments this year so that I wouldn’t care too much if they were ripped down or there wouldn’t be any chance that Wellington could hurt himself on them. I usually have those glass colored bulbs that are breakable. Most of them were sewn, some were bought and modified, and most of them our the Christmas Cards that all of you sent us! Thanks!
It just starting snowing this afternoon. We had some snow on the ground, but it was the not too pretty slushy kind. But it looks like we will have a pretty white Christmas after all.

I’m excited for Christmas this year, mostly because Wellington is older this year and can open his own presents.
Here’s a goof video of the snow today from our back porch. It’s snowing a ton more now…
The plan this year is to wake up around 9:30 or 10am, make some waffles, then open presents. We’re planning on having Mark’s parents over because they are like 20 feet away from us and that would be silly if we didn’t get together.
Mark and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I’m totally excited for this shirt that Wellington is getting for Christmas. I found the shirt at the dollar store. And then I did an iron on of the frog from the original Frogger arcade side art. Troy, do you need one of these shirts? …larger size of course.

Yeah, that title probably doesns’t make any sense…but that Frogger was put out by Sega. dumb, I know, but I think Marky will get it.
4 commentsDarth Maul was nice but scary.
A while back, I made a post that you could get your picture with a Star Wars character at a local toy store. It turned out to be better than I thought. With multiple Star Wars Characters roaming the store of Magical Moon Toys and as you can see many were in the picture.

Wellington is in his Darth Vader costume!
For $5 dollars you could get your picture taken and all the proceeds went to Toys for Tots. We found out later that Alpine Garrison is the local chapter of nerds, I mean, Imperial 501st Legion, an international volunteer Star Wars costuming club. Where members wear their costumes for charity work, community programs, fandom conventions, and Star Wars promotions.
I was pretty impressed with the costumes, they looked so real. On their site it said, “A screen accurate costume can cost anywhere between $100 and $3,000, depending on the costume and whether you buy one already built or make it yourself.”
Also, they had a pretty nice set up as well. They had a huge green screen that went the length of the wall and down onto the floor. They then put your picture in front of a Star Wars background of which they had many.
I thought Darth Maul was particular scary. He was trying to be so nice to Wellington but he was just too scary and strange looking for Wellsy. Heidi told me that Gray, her little guy around the same age as Wellington, didn’t cry at all when Darth Maul held him. Wellington did fine while his Mommy was holding him, but when I gave him to Darth Vader and left his view, it didn’t take long for him to start crying.

Close up of Wellsy looking scared with Darth Vader
Heidi and her kids have some pictures up on the gallery as well, and make sure and check out the one of Heidi kissing Darth Vader. You have to go to: Gallery>2007>Toys for Tots fundraiser (logan). I’m sure Heidi will make a post soon about her experience and post her pictures.
I loved this and would definitely do it again if they do it next year. I would love to get me and Mark in there as well.
