A babies laugh, one of the joys of parenting…
This baby laughs at his Dad playing the Wii. Wellington doesn’t laugh so much when his Dad plays the Wii, he mostly fusses because he wants to be playing too.
This next video is pretty cute too…with the top three laughing baby’s….(wow four babies, I can’t imagine).
and don’t forget our little Welly…..

Jeff and Dianna had recently made a post about a free IQ test you could take. They posted their scores and encouraged others to take the test as well.
I didn’t really want to take it, but Heidi got me to take it tonight and I got a 110. I felt pretty dumb because Jeff said he got a 129 and Dianna said she got a 125…So after I wiped my tears away, Heidi and I made this IQ test of our own.
Dr. Mel and Dr. Heidi’s IQ Test
Good luck and Jeff I hope you get a bad score.
And yes, I know there are spelling errors on the quiz, but I’m too lazy to go back and fix them.
Cleanest baby in the world!
Amazing baby genius cleans his own room!

In Logan, at Magical Moon Toys (by Wal-mart) on December 1st (all day) you can get your picture with a Storm Trooper or Darth Vader (not sure which) for five dollars, which goes to a good cause (not sure which). Storm Trooper or Darth Vader will be in full out costume.
So Heidi, Jeff and Dianna, I’ll see you there.
16 commentsWellington, Wellington Who?
A while back we traded our Hard Drivin’ Arcade driving cabinet for a Crystal Castles arcade cab at a local arcade/game trading store in the Cache Valley mall. We’ve had our eye on their Crystal Castles for sometime now and even put a few coins in it.
Crystal Castles is a game made by Atari that came out in 1983. The basic game is you use the trackball to move Bentley Bear around the paths of the various “castles” and pick up gems, while avoiding evil creatures that lurk about. Sounds easy? It’s not. And Mark and I have spent too much time trying to out do the other one. Twin Galaxies here we come!
There has been a few times when I was nearing a high score and Wellington’s cries were ignored…not a hurt cry, but a “Mommy I’m bored of watching you play Crystal Castles” cry. He actually gets pretty mad if someone is playing and he’s not up there with them. He loves to push the jump button and does a great job of it.
It is currently in our kitchen. We removed the Rush the Rock Alcatraz driving cabinet out to the garage so that we could get some good game play in the warmth of the house.
At one point we thought we might just build our own cab similar to the Markade and make it look like a Crystal Castles but the side artwork alone would have cost $600. We got a great deal trading in our Hard Drivin’ game for the Crystal Castles, in addition to the trade we got $300 store credit, of which Mark got a Xbox 360.

Wellington in his Bently Bear shirt his Mommy made him.
We challenge anyone to come and try and beat Mark’s high score or mine I’m a close second, third and fourth.
CRYSTAL CASTLES I LOVE YOU!!!! and p.s. you get a pat on the back for knowing what I meant when I mentioned Twin Galaxies.
11 commentsVisiting Family and Friends
My Mom and I went to Kaysville, Centerville and Sandy the other week to visit some family and friends. I’ve been meaning to go visit some fiends for a while now. I have a friend that is from Georgia, that is in Sandy right now living with her in-law’s while her husband is in Iraq (I hope that’s the right location). So I wanted to visit her and her two boys while they are here.

Then we visited my Aunt Susan, Uncle Sparky, and cousin Madison in Centerville. I hadn’t seen them for over a year so it was really long overdue. Susan is my Dad’s sister. While we were there we also picked up some furniture of my Grandma Smith’s that she wanted to keep in the family. She gave me a very nice cedar chest and some dishes. And my mom, bookshelves, and other end tables.
We also visited some friends in Kaysville. An old family friend that we used to live next to in the Apple Acres trailer park. And then we visited with my long time friend, Kirsten.
We made it to a park as well and played and stretched our legs. My Mom spotted a horse across the street and she took Wellington over and he loved the horse and was so fascinated by it.

Overall, we had a great time visiting and getting out of town. Wellington had a great time and did suprizing well in the car all day. Thanks Mom for going with me and helping with Wellington.
5 commentsPhotography Field Trip
As I’ve mentioned before I’m interested in photography. In the local paper there was an announcement for a free photography class. I was excited because I want to learn all I can and get better. I went to it early Saturday morning, about a month ago. It was taught by two guys; a local photographer and a member of the Audubon Society.
Afterwards we went to third Dam up the Logan Canyon, hiked around and took pictures. The main focus was to get pictures of wildlife but my camera ins’t that great but I got a few good ones of the landscape. I learned a lot from the other photographers. They made mention of starting a Photography Club and I think I’d join if they do.
Here’s a few pictures that I took…

Flat Earth
Mark and I really like these new chips that came out a bit ago. There not something we usually get but we really like the fruit flavors.
‘Flat Earth’ Impossibly Good, Baked Fruit Crisps come in six different flavors. There is Peach Mango Paradise, Apple Cinnamon Grove, Wild Berry Patch, Farm Land Cheddar, Tangy Tomato Ranch, and Garlic and Herb Field.
We’ve tried the Peach Mango Paradise and the Wild Berry Patch. It’s a little weird at first because your biting into a chip and you expect it to be salty but its sweet.
The packaging looks a bit too fro fro and girly to me. They are a bit expensive so watch for them to go on sale.
We’ve tried the Farm Land Cheddar as well but we didn’t like it too much.
They aren’t too sweet and they are pretty healthy. We definitely recommend giving these a try.
4 commentsTurkey Day!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving!

Goodnight, Sleep tight, don’t let the dust mites bite.
The other night Mark decided to share some facts from his Bathroom Reader book to me right before I went to bed…so enjoy!
-Beds are a prime habitat where 1/3 of the life of a mite occurs.
-A typical bed mattress may contain anything from 100,000 to 10 million mites.
-How old is your pillow? Ten percent of the weight of a two year old pillow may be composed of dead mites and their droppings.
-They feed off the skin flakes that you shed!
-80% of allergy sufferers are allergic to proteins that are found in the waste and decomposed body parts of dust mites.
-A gram (about a half teaspoon) of dust contains as many as 1,000 dust mites and 250,000 dust mite fecal pellets.
-Each one produces approximately 20 fecal pellet each day, and females lay 25 to 50 eggs every three weeks.
-Adult females lay up to 40 to 80 eggs singly or in small groups of three to five.
-There are eight hairy legs, no eyes, no antennae, a mouthpart group in front of the body (resembles head) and a tough translucent shell.
P.S. Sorry.
