Just Walk Already

Once he gets up there though he doesn’t stay very long, his little legs give out and “timmbbeerrr” he goes down. He doesn’t have a smooth landing yet so its a hard landing and then he cries (its like he’s a baby or something). He keeps going though, right after he falls he’s back up again.

He sure is cute though.
I’m really, really sorry…
You’ve probably seen the new Berries and Cream Starburst commercial and if you haven’t click here so you know what I’m talking about. It doesn’t really make me want to try them, but obviously Starburst has a good advertising campaign, because I can’t forget that dumb guy doing the Berries and Cream dance.
Heidi I expect you to pay special attention to this dance tutorial and do this dance for me next time I see you. Or anyone is welcome to learn the dance and post a video of themselves doing it. I dare you!
Let us know if you’ve tried these new Starbursts and if you’d get them again? Are you disturbed by this dancing Lad?
11 commentsNot good unless its on your face, and hands, and shirt, and table.
I’ve always wanted to try Lloyd’s Barbecue Pork, but its always been too expensive. It was on sale today at Macey’s so I grabbed a tub. I knew I would be trying and reviewing it myself because Mark isn’t a big fan of bbq, particularly if its of the sweeter variety. I didn’t mind going it alone though because I love bbq and I was very hungry.

It was easy to prepare, just a quick heat up in the microwave for 8-9 minutes, stirring half-way in between. I thought the meat to bbq sauce ratio was perfect, the meat was good, and the sauce wasn’t spicy, it was more of a sweet bbq.
I had another sandwich to make sure I still liked it and yes it passed. It was very sloppy and something I would definitely get again. I wouldn’t get it again if it was full price…about $4.50, but on sale its worth it. One tub could get four good sized sandwiches from it.
Yes, no shame.

Mark has added a new page to Melarky.com, the Projects page. You can find the link to this page to the right, underneath Home and Photo Album.
Mark has added two great posts about the projects he and Gary are working on. The CNC Machine (a never ending project) and the C200 Engine Upgrade. And I added a quilting project I did a few years ago.
Check back often for new posts of our projects.
2 commentsSay Cheese, Its my cell phone!
There has been times where I’m driving down the road and I whip out my phone to capture a shot of a weird guy walking down the street, or a cool bike I’d know Mark would want to see, and of course millions of pictures of Wellington.
Mark got a micro sd adapter so I could easily take the pictures from my phone to the computer. So now I can post the pictures of the weird guy or the video I have of Gary being hit on his head at his birthday dinner. This is going to revolutionize the way I post.
Here are all the pictures I have of Wellington on my phone (I know there has been many Wellsy posts lately, I can’t help myself)

All Wellington, All the time
I’ve been playing around with Moive Maker a bit more and this one is sure to please Wellington’s Grandma’s. It’s a slide show featuring, who else, but Wellington. Pictures of him from birth to now.
The song playing in the background is one I heard on Futurama (Epidsode:Leela’s Home World), called Baby Love Child by Pizzicato Five. The full version of the song has this weird techno part in the middle, so I wasn’t really sure what to do with that.
During the techno part of the song there are flashing pictures of Wellsy, Wellington boots, beef Wellington and other weird pictures…Anyway, here’s the Wellington Slide Show…Enjoy!
I love my little Wellington and I’m really enjoying being a mother and Mark and I love our goofy little guy. I love to look at pictures of him when he was a newborn, I can’t believe how time has gone. He is seven and a half months now-So big!
11 commentsLoves his cousin.
Wellington loves his cousin Olivia. Wellington smiled so big as soon as she came over yesterday. She loves to hold him and yesterday I finally “let go” and said yes to her persistant question of “Can I hold Wellington while I’m standing up?” I figure if she can handle holding her brother Gray, who is older and a bit bigger, than she should be able to hold Wellsy with no problem. It was pretty cute watching her hold him and carry him around. I love that she can make him smile and laugh. She is a great help whenever she comes over to our house.

Fun in the dark, at the park.
We went to Ryan’s Park Place the other night with Heidi, Gary, the kids, Grandma Charmbury and Mammy. Heidi and Gary had been there before with thier kids but this was the first time Mark and I had been. I was really impressed with it and we had a lot of fun. They had all sorts of fun things to do there and here are a few pics of the fun we had.
Holden loved to go down the slides and run off. Olivia loved to play next to the big kids. Heidi and I kept daring eachother to do things and got our excerise for the day. Mark and Gary took the babies and Mammy and Granny watched us all.
We went kinda late so it got dark quick but we just kept playing. When everyone left we stayed. I’m sure Grandma Charmbury and Mammy thought we were crazy staying out so late with our babies. We finally left when Wellington was tired and really done, he ruined all my fun. It will be fun to go back when there’s more time to play.
I uploaded the rest of the pictures in our gallery.
Sorry about that picture Heidi, you make a great Sir Heidi! Next time we’ll have to get Marky to pose too.

5 commentsTired from all that fussing.
My Wellsy is a bit tired tonight from all the crying and fussing he’s been doing all day. He’s been a bit cranky because he’s cutting his first tooth. One tooth is just barely peeking through. I was a bit surprised it took this long to get his first tooth, but let the fun begin!
