Peek-a-Boo a little too scarey.
My niece, Elicia and my nephew, Ben came into town tonight from Colorado. Wellington and I went over to say hi, and while we were there my sister Barbara played peek-a-boo with Wellington and it was so funny to watch his reaction. You could tell he loved it because he always smiled right after he jumped. Here’s a quick clip of it. (My Dad was holding him…)
Elicia and Ben will be staying with Dianna (my niece/their older sister) and her husband Jeff. Elicia will be here for two weeks for her summer vacation and Ben just graduated High School so I think he is planning on staying in town till he goes on his mission. It will be really fun to see them and to hang out.

I thought I would put this here since Holly’s site pluffpants.com is currently down as we’re changing the domain. Once the dns is propagated, you should be able to get to her site with her new domain name:
Make sure and update your links and let Holly know what you think of her new domain name.
4 commentsAnother woot off is underway…
Woot.com is having another woot off today. In case you missed our earlier post about woot-off’s, it’s basically they are taking all of the stuff that they didn’t sell out of in the past, and marking it down even further until it does sell out. Usually you have to wait until midnight for a new deal, but on Woot Off’s, a new deal is posted after the previous deal sells out, so check back often as they will have lots of good deals through out the day. There will be a status bar (just like the one above) that will tell you how much an item is left (doesn’t give an exact number, but as the stock diminishes the bar goes down).
2 commentsMemorial Day picnic
Mammy put together a picnic on Memorial day and it was way fun. I wish I had taken more pictures so not everyone that was there are in these pictures. Thanks everyone for the great food. There were sandwiches, home made root beer, a few different salads, and cowboy cookies.

The kids all seemed to have a really good time running and kicking the soccer ball around. The cousins always have a great time when they get together. Thanks again! I’ll try and put bigger versions of these pics up on my gallery a bit later.
7 commentsPerfect for me or anyone incredably vain!
There has been many times where I find myself taking my own picture (crazy, I know)…so this QuikPod would be perfect for me. It would also be great for all those times when your on a vacation and you don’t want to ask a stranger to take your camera and take a picture for you. The QuikPod attaches easily to any camera with a standard tripod socket. Priced at around $30 it’s an easy price to pay for super cute pictures of yourself. I really want one!

3 commentsAttention Mark: I give you permission….

Last weekend Gary rented two ATV’s and we went up Logan canyon and had a great time riding them around, roasting hot dogs, making home made root beer(you can find the recipe here) and eating some tin foil dinners. The initial plan was to go with Heidi, the kids, Gary’s brother and his family, but it ended up being just me, Wellington, Mark and Gary. Wellington loved watching the fire and was memorized by it. He also had a root beer bottle. We ate and took turns holding Wellington while the other two went on a ride (thanks for watching him Gary while Mark and I went for a ride). I love riding an ATV’s. They’re so fun, and here it is….I fully give my permission to Mark to get an ATV.

3 commentsNow that’s good workmanship!
I found my old bib and tried it on Wellington. My sister Lanette hand embroidered it for me for my first Christmas. Lanette did a great job on it too, it still looks great after 26 years! I don’t think my embroidery could stand up to the test of time that well. When my Mom finds a picture of me wearing it, I’ll have to post that.

Sad to see it go
We sold our mustang today and Mark and I are a little sad to see it go. We had it listed on ksl and craigslist for a while and had a few people come look at it, but it wasn’t until the ad in the local paper that it really caught some interest (thanks Scotty). Even though we’ll miss the stang, the new truck makes it a little easier to see it go.
But, I need it!
Do you need a over sized toothbrush or a huge pair of scissors for you next ribbon cutting?
Well you can find it at www.greatbigstuff.com
I ran across this site and thought it was pretty funny. They have a lot of ordinary things in really big sizes. I don’t have a lot of need for a really big pencil but if I ever do I know where to go!

Kids always figure out how to climb and hop over the gates so I thought this would be good because its an extra tall gate!
