Cleaned, Buffed, Organized, Burned.

Mark and I spent our Saturday working. Our garage was so messy you couldn’t park a car in it or even take a step into it. I worked on the garage, cleaning and organizing it. Mark spent the day getting our mustang ready to sell. He washed, waxed, and buffed it, till you could see yourself in it. My Mom came over to help with Wellington, and there’s no way I could have gotten the garage done without her help. The newly waxed mustang is now parked in the garage ready for someone to buy it (tell your friends).

Poor Mark got a sunburn on his arms and face from working on the car all day. And he woke up the next day pretty sore from waxing the car. We’re also pretty sad to see the mustang go, Its a fun car….we should have it up on ksl.com and craigslist.com soon. I’ll make a post about it when we get the ads up.

UPDATE FROM MARK: I just posted the stang on KSL and Craigslist, the links are below:

Photoshop

If you know the basics of photoshop, the site tutorialoutpost.com is a great help. It shows you how to do cool effects and photo editing step by step.

My favorite to do for posts is the nine picture collage. Pretty easy to make. If anyone has photoshop and is intrested in making these collages, let me know in the comments and I’ll make a tutorial for it.

This collage is of Wellington eating. This shows a few of his favorites to eat besides rice cereal and breastmilk. He loves prunes and peas the best. He’ll eat just about anything with the exception of the beef and beef broth gerber one.

Sink vs. the Tub

He looks so cute having a sink tubby, but I’d have to say its hard to give him a sink tubby when he still cant sit up by himself. So much easier to give him a tubby in the tub. :)

Mother and Boy

Mark and I are big fans of the show Arrested Development. If you haven’t already seen it, we highly reccomend it!

Buster is the youngest child of George, Sr. and Lucille Bluth, and brother of Michael, Lindsay and G.O.B. Buster is a perpetual student and mama’s boy. A very big Mama’s boy. He and his mother have appeared in the Balboa Bay Window Magazine many times, and they’re always dressed so smart and stylish-and always matching!

Quotes from Buster:
“Yeah. I miss Mom.”
“I’ve always loved those leathery little snappy faces.”

Here’s a little video featuring Buster and his mom, Lucille, to help you familirize yourself with the show….

Wellington and I also like to match! This is when we appeared in the Balboa Bay Window magazine!

Magical Birthday

This year on 07-07-07 is Mark’s magical birthday when he will be turning 27! I’d like to do something really fun this year for it and even though its aways away I’d like to start planning it now.

MARK THIS IS WHERE YOU STOP READING

I have plans of making dinner and a cake, and having some games or activity. It would be fun to possibly have a theme (…no he’s NOT turning 7….). Possible themes could be “#7″, Video Games or “magic” (because its his magical birthday). I need your help! Does anyone have any fun ideas for food, themes or games?

Many of these songs remind me of when we were first dating. No Particular Place to Go is one we like to sing together while we’re riding in our Mustang. Hook is one Mark plays on the guitar, and one song we both know the lyrics to. If someone asked me what our song was, I’d have to say it would be Walking After You by Foo Fighters. I’m not sure if thats the one Mark would say…Do you and your significant other have a song? Oh, and hey Mark sorry about the picture on the right, but I think its really cute.

Back off Ducks!

I took Wellington yesterday to see the ducks. Its just a short walk down the street from our condo and there are ducks and carp fish in the ponds you can feed. We took some bread and sat down on the grass to feed the ducks. They’re pretty friendly and not scared to get right up to you. I wasn’t throwing the bread fast enough and they came so close, I had to get them to back off. After we ran out of bread we rested and I gave Wellington a bottle of juice. And the ducks still sat down right by us.

I loved the little sandles that Wellington had on as well, I thought his feet looked so cute in them. They made him look like a big boy.

If you’re in the neighborhood you’ll have to come by and feed the ducks-Its really fun! and I usually have some bread you can use.
