Wellington likes the taste of monkey ear.

This was taken today, obviously I’m not feeding him enough because he has to eat his toys. Wellington is getting really good at grabbing and holding onto objects, and sometimes putting them in his mouth.

Army face paint isn’t attractive for a first date.

Mark and I had our first date on Halloween in 1998. We were supposed to be at USU’s Halloween dance drawing caricatures for our art class, but we ditched out and went to my apartment instead to watch The Willies, a stupid “b” movie. I had dressed up for Halloween like an army girl because I thought we were going to the dance, but we ended up not, but I felt stupid, because Mark didn’t dress up. NOT only was I in full army atire, I had used real army face pant witch is very greasy, hard to get off and not attractive at all. After I had wiped off all my army make-up, Mark and I had our first kiss (oh la la!). We went to Central Park after the movie for some dinner. I had requested to eat there not knowing at the time that Mark hated the place and thought the establishment was unsanitary, but he still went because that’s where I wanted to go (what a guy!). And that was our first date. :)

Getting with the times

After a long time of me resisting, Mark got me a cell phone for Chirstmas. I just didn’t feel like I needed one or I could do without one. I know now what I was missing out on. We got rid of our LAN line and both Mark and I just have our cell phones. Its so convienint and handy to have one.

I love my Marky for getting one for me and he knows me so well and picked the perfect one for me (mine is cherry red). I love being able to call him if I’m at the store, on the side of the road, or being able to be reached even if I’m not home.

Whenever I watch this I want chocolate, and lots of it!

Pier 49 Pizza in Providence

Pier 49 just recently opened a new location in Providence, just down the street from our house. We tried it out for our Valentines dinner this year and I was really impressed.

The atmosphere was really fun. When you walk in there is a huge mural of San Francisco to your left. The lighting is dimmed a bit with fun light fixtures. To your right on the far wall are huge beach looking houses. The whole place makes you feel like you’re on a pier at the beach.

Guess what I heard about Melanie…

  1. She eats her hot dogs plain.
  2. She used to be in FHA (Future Homemakers of America) by choice.
  3. She listens to Queensryche.
  4. She sometimes leaves the house without wearing socks with her tennis shoes on (shocking!)
  5. I’ve heard she’s never been in an car accident (I know Ben might not believe that).
  6. She never wants to be left out on anything.
  7. She got caught once, picking her nose by her niece Ciel, although Melanie claims she was “just scratching”.
  8. She is obsessive about locking her bedroom door at night.
  9. She abuses her husband by never giving him foot rubs.
  10. Can you believe she looked up Mark’s address in the phone book and drove past his house a couple of times before they even went on their first date.

Salmonella and Jam sandwich

If you didn’t hear this already, just so you know The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning consumers not to eat certain jars of Peter Pan peanut butter or Great Value (from Walmart) peanut butter (beginning with product code 2111) due to risk of contamination with Salmonella . If it has been purchased since May 2006, you should discard it. Mark didn’t tell me until yesterday so I just wanted to mention it.

For other product recall’s and saftey alerts from the FDA go here =>fda.gov<=

Revenge on Heidi

After Heidi posted an unflattering obvious photoshopped picture of me =>click here to see her post and the un-true picture of me<=, I'd just like to show you the REAL Heidi ;) . Here is a photo taken of her in front of a Krispy Kreme. Now maybe you should think twice about posting unkind pictures of me on your blog and trying to purposly hurt someones feelings. :)

Don’t worry.

For all those that thought the bonsaikitten site was real, don’t worry, it was just a joke and not serious, I just thought I’d better clear that up for all the cat/pet lovers that totally thought Mark and I were jerks for putting kittens in glass jars.
